Contributing data over the Internet or corporate Intranet is easy with Omnivex WebPad. Users log in to the system where they can view and edit messages and data that they have permission to access.

WebPad can be configured to enforce required approvals on new messages before they are updated in DataPipe. Editors are notified when new messages are entered and can edit, accept, or reject the submitted text.

Messages can be set to expire after a set time period and all activity is logged for full audit trails.

Omnivex WebPad 2 works with Microsoft Internet Explorer and Omnivex DataPipe 3 to allow Users to create, manage and post unique messages directly to a DataPipe Server.

An advantage to Omnivex WebPad 2 is that no proprietary software needs to be loaded onto each user’s PC, so any designated person can update messages from anywhere at any time.

Omnivex WebPad 2 Server is installed on a single, host computer, and accessed via independent computers using a Web Browser. Users can create or edit text messages that are posted to Omnivex DataPipe 3.

Individual rights can be assigned to each user and/or message to flag specific combinations for editorial approval before posting, so your network is secure. These messages can then be linked to any appropriate Omnivex content management application to be displayed or used to trigger content to appear. E-mail notifications, automatic message expiration, activity logs and log-on options are all supported.
